The Yellowhead Highway (Canada 16)
Today was almost entirely devoted to driving. We stopped for a short hike up to an ancient forest (the only known rainforest so far away from an ocean). It was filled with enormous cedars, beautiful, but not nearly as big as the redwoods we saw in California last year. Other than that, there was nothing really eventful. We're stopped in Smithers, British Columbia tonight, and will be headed north, crossing into the Yukon Territory probably Friday!

ReplyDeleteA rainforest in Canaidia (yes, I know I spelled it wrong...but that's how I say it in my head! Don't judge!) that's pretty cool. I miss you!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I got so wrapped up in the Canaidia thing that I forgot to finish my thought, so I had to delete my first post! My brain isn't functioning yet this morning!
